David A. V ogel is the Manager Member of V elocity Equity Partners, LLC, since 2000 which invests in growth equity and early stage ventures in digital media, technology, and industrial sectors. Currently Mr. V ogel is a member of the board of directors of CiDRA Minerals LLC, a mining technology company and Co-Chairman of the board of directors of CiDRA Concrete, LLC, an IoT company focused on quality measurements in the concrete space. Mr. V ogel is also the Manager of Kayon Partners, LLC, since its founding in 2016 which provides growth-oriented capital to businesses in a range of industries.
Mr. V ogel was a board member or had board visitation rights at Dotomi (acquired by V alueClick), W ebDialogs (acquired by IBM), RSI (acquired by Verisign), LP Innovations (acquired by Securitas), Feedroom (acquired by KitDigital), 21st Century T elecom (acquired by RCN) and MGC Communications (exit through IPO). Mr. V ogel is also an owner of JDS Kayon Partners which has interests in realestate and retail related businesses.
He is also a partner in Kayon Partners LLC, a company set up to provide management services to Kayon Partners related businesses. Mr. V ogel is also a strategic advisor to Solutions Atlantic, a privately held software company, since 2013. Previously David served as the Chief Operating Officer and CFO of LexMar Global, an industrial technology company, from 2014 through 2017 and was the CFO of CashPath, a fintech company, from 2013 through 2016. From 1989 to 1999, Mr. V ogel was a member of the corporate development team at Farley Industries, Inc., a management company providing services to Farley Inc., a private investment fund holding company, and its related entities including Fruit of the Loom, Inc., Farley Metals, Inc., Acme Boot Company and W est Point-Pepperell, Inc. Earlier in his career, David served in the corporate finance and the merger and acquisition groups at Lehman Brothers from 1984- 1987.
