He brings his investment-banking expertise to the challenge of seeding innovative start-up and early-stage companies and then driving new, cutting-edge technological, and proprietary end- products to commercialization. He has played an active role in shaping strategies, defining missions and formulating management teams in order to position companies for exceptional growth.
- Founded H Power Corp., a company specializing in fuel-cell development and serving on its Board of Directors from July 1996 through April 2000, at which time the Company commenced its initial public offering, raising over $100 million with a market cap of just under $1 billion for it’s NASDAQ listing.
- Partner and advisor to EOTech Inc., a defense company and military contractor. In 2002 a syndicate, including Mr. Rothstein, purchased the company for approximately $1.5 million and in 2006 sold to L-3 Communications, a major defense contractor, for over a $55 million cash purchase.
- Co-Founder and Chairman to Intellectual Patents Inc. (IPI), a “launch pad” platform company which funded and developed Aptiviti Inc. (Aptiviti) - a majority owned subsidiary of IPI.
- Chairman, Co- Founder and President of Aptiviti- an award winning data driven technology research company, with its divisions ETR, VENN, RAMP and ETR. Aptiviti has recently attracted notable technology investors and a contract with Bloomberg for the distribution of its data and research.
